Architect. Builder. Founder.
14 years solving hard problems at scale. Now building the things I've always wanted to exist — and helping others do the same.
I'm Fahad — a Solution Architect and Technology Consulting Manager at EY in Melbourne. Over 14 years I've worked across government, financial services, utilities, and retail, designing cloud-native platforms and leading cross-functional teams through complex digital transformation programmes.
The day job is enterprise: defining target-state architectures, running bid processes, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and leading teams of consultants and engineers through delivery. I've helped win engagements worth $1.3M, $1.8M, and more — not as a passenger, but as the person building the solution and the case for it.
Outside of EY I'm a builder. Jamaal is a calm iOS focus app I'm developing in Swift, built on a deterministic rules engine I designed from scratch. PDF-Craft is a pay-per-use SaaS product. Threads is the design system underlying everything — one token set that works across iOS, macOS, and web. None of these exist because they were good business ideas. They exist because I couldn't find what I needed and decided to build it.
I'm based in Melbourne, educated at Monash and Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi. I write occasionally about product decisions, engineering tradeoffs, and building in the margins of a demanding career.
Organisations I've worked with
